I use science-backed principles from nutrition, epigenetics, functional medicine, mind-body medicine, positive psychology and behaviour science and look at health holistically. My approach helps clients identify and unblock the challenges that are getting in the way of achieving optimal health and more importantly create a well-being mindset that will help them sustain changes long-term. Together we will get to the root cause of your concerns using advanced functional medicine testing and I will hold you accountable in your journey to live a healthier, more balanced and nourished life.

 

I treat each person as a bio-individual, meaning that there isn't a one-size-fits-all approach to health. I help my clients develop highly-individualised and actionable techniques to help them to reconnect with their bodies, minds and spirits so that they can thrive and continue to sustain optimal living well beyond our coaching sessions.

WHY FUNCTIIONAL MEDICINE

AND HEALTH COACHING ?

Functional medicine is a holistic and integrative approach to healthcare that focuses on identifying and addressing the root causes of disease. Unlike conventional medicine, which often concentrates on treating symptoms, functional medicine aims to understand the complex interactions between various physiological systems and environmental factors that contribute to health and disease.

Our modern Western lifestyle combines time compression, toxic load and ultra-processed foods into a potent “stress-cocktail” that most of us don’t realise we are drinking. This is wreaking havoc on our minds and bodies. Diet and lifestyle account for at least 85% of the risk of chronic disease and 90% of what determines our lifespan - not genetics! Health happens outside the doctor's office and what you eat, how you think, how you move, rest and connect either adds or detracts vitality and years to or from your life. You have the power to not only prevent disease but more importantly to optimise your health through your daily actions. It’s that simple.

My training in functional medicine will help you identify and address the underlying causes of your health concerns and remove the overwhelm.

 

Although most of us know what to do to be healthier, implementing consistent changes that yield results can be hard as our bodies are wired for immediate satisfaction and we are surrounded by unhealthy choices, toxins and more stress than ever before in the history of humankind. 

 

My additional training in health coaching helps clients unpack and uninstall old habits that are not serving them and implement lasting behaviour change that will support their health long-term. Health coaches are the missing link in traditional healthcare and get to the heart of what real change should be about: individualised attention, accountability, partnership, acceptance and compassion.

AM I THE RIGHT PRACTITIONER FOR YOU?
